WEBINAR: March 14th at 4pm ET/ 1 PM PT: Title: Civic Engagement –
A Faithful Call to Stand in Solidarity with Immigrant & Refugee Communities
this Election Cycle

Election season is in full swing and it
is critically important for people of faith and organizations that work with
immigrant and refugee communities to be engaged in the process of voter
engagement.
So far in this campaign cycle, we have
been deeply troubled by examples of vitriolic rhetoric directed at immigrants
and refugees. Faith communities have an obligation to engage in the public
square to lift up the importance of welcome and inclusion for all people.
In this webinar, we will learn how
congregations and 501(c)(3)s can legally participate in voter registration,
education and mobilization activities during this election season. We will also
discuss tools and strategies to support and engage immigrant and refugee
communities, and to hold local, state and federal candidates accountable for
their positions on critical issues like comprehensive immigration reform and
refugee resettlement.
