Act to ensure dignity & justice for all with the August Recess Toolkit!
During August recess Members of Congress return to their
home states and many will campaign for re-election. All candidates for office
will be holding campaign events and meeting with voters. This presents a great
opportunity to connect with your elected officials and candidates by asking
questions and sharing your personal concerns and hopes about your community and
our nation.
Now is also the time to get ready for election day. Make
plans to engage with your community through conversation and prayer around our
role as U.S. residents and as faithful citizens in ensuring our election
systems promote dignity and respect for all. August is a critical time for
local action to help ensure all citizens are guaranteed the right to vote.
Check out our August action toolkit below to learn exactly
how you can take action to ensure dignity and justice for all this month!
