Hey there! I am so grateful you came upon my page and are considering supporting my call to serve as a volunteer for ELCA's Young Adults in Global Mission program!

With great excitement I have accepted the opportunity to serve as a volunteer in Hungary, starting in August. I will be one of more than 25 young adults serving on behalf of the ELCA in 5 different country programs around the world!

YAGM's in Central Europe are invited to serve alongside our companions in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hungary. I will be serving in the town of Köszeg working within the church in various ministries and volunteering within the local community as well as nonprofit organizations. I anticipate working at the Evangélikus Mezőgazdasági, Kereskedelmi és Informatikai Szakképző Iskola, to support, teach, and learn from the students and teachers!

But this opportunity did not just pop out of thin air! 

In September of 2023, I participated in my first Global Missions trip to Uganda at the Lukome ChildVoice Center. That experience affirmed my sense of call to advance God's mission of reconciling the world through the Gospel. We are all broken people, called to restore relationships with one another by sharing God's love in word and deed. Through walking alongside the Roma and Hungarian people, I will hear their stories and learn how God has been (and continues to be) active in their lives. When we journey together in a spirit of mutual love, the risen Christ will be revealed. 

As part of accepting this call, I am asked to raise at least $6,000. I would be honored if you would help me reach my goal by making a donation today. I feel great excitement when I contemplate the ways in which this year will form and transform me.
