COWABUNGA! RTG is 65 years young!

This is the udder truth. February 4th was my 65th Birthday. No bull!
As you know my calling involves raising awareness and money to help those who are hungry and food insecure. Last year for my birthday we raised enough money to provide more than 8 wells so that families could have clean, drinking water. Together we raised more than $20,000!

This year my goal is to “buy” cows. Each cow is $500. We’ve all seen the ads “Got Milk?” And when families do have access to milk - their lives are transformed.

Here’s why this is important- I’m promise not to steer you in the wrong direction:

Just one dairy cow can produce as many as 3 gallons of milk each day. Nutritious, calcium-packed milk from a cow helps ensure that children grow up healthy and strong. Extra milk can also be used to make cheese, yogurt, butter and other dairy products to eat and sell for a steady source of income. With food and funds – not to mention fertilizer for fields – a cow is a total package for a family in need.
I’d like your help in buying cows this year. And for each and every dollar you give-it will be matched by $2 more dollars. That’s right, due to the generosity of friends and family, every time you give $1- they give $2 – (up to $6,000!) So get your gift DOUBLED DOWN!

Every gift counts and matters. If you can give $6.50 -a dime for each year. Or if you can give $5.00 and 99 others do that- it's quickly $500 dollars and that is going to be matched with $1,000. See how your giving grows and goes. If you give $50.00 then you've purchased a 10% share in a cow.

God richly provides for our daily bread – the earth can produce enough to feed everyone. And yet 870 million people – that’s one out of nine people in our world today – are hungry. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work.
