Welcome to Willie and Anne Langdji's Personal Page
We would like you to support our call to serve as missionaries with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)!
You can join us on this journey as we accompany our global companions in West Africa. We belong to one of 118 missionary households serving on behalf of the ELCA throughout the world.
Our fundraising goal is to raise at least $20,000, and you can support us with a gift today. Through your donation, you will join us and those we walk alongside to carry out the vital work of God's global church by witnessing to Christ's love in word and deed.
Thank you for joining us, and thank you for your support. Every gift truly matters.
This page is set up to receive donations from individuals only. If you are giving on behalf of a congregation or organization, visit ELCA.org/MissionaryGiving or get in touch with us for more information about other giving methods.
The ELCA’s Approach to Global Mission
As part of a global Lutheran community, the ELCA gratefully receives the witness of global siblings whose faith, hospitality, resilience and zeal energize us and our own congregations. In response, together our denomination shares our gifts and talents to address the root causes of poverty and hunger, fight malaria and HIV/AIDS, build communities that coexist in peace, and prepare people to preach the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
The average total cost for one missionary household to serve is about $100,000. Each missionary is tasked with raising a minimum of $20,000. The ELCA raises additional funds through generous congregations and individual donors. If more than $20,000 is received, these funds help support other missionaries as they accompany our neighbors around the world.
No matter where or how they serve, every missionary (including us!) needs your prayers, support and gifts. Will you join us in our journey by giving a gift today? By doing so, you’ll be investing not only in our work, but also in helping to grow God's global church.
Peace, Willie and Anne
