Aaron's Easter Celebration!
As one of 118 missionary households serving on behalf of the ELCA throughout the world, I have had incredible experiences in these last two and a half years. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bolivia is a vibrant, living community of faith, and perhaps includes the highest percentage of indigenous peoples in any mainline church body. Our ministry has been working to develop education to raise up leaders for the Church here—leaders who will serve as pastors for congregations, stewards of the earth, healers of Bolivia's abject poverty, and proclaimers of joy to people who think they have been forgotten.
Now, as I prepare to exit this context for a new path, it is time to celebrate. It is why God gives us the sacraments—not so that we can have one more ritual to do, but so that we can celebrate what God has already done, and has promised to do, through our words and hands and feet.
Thank you for your support, prayers, and gifts throughout my time here, and for donating to celebrate with me today. Every gift truly matters.

The ELCA’s Approach to Global Mission
As part of a global Lutheran community, the ELCA gratefully receives the witness of global siblings whose faith, hospitality, resilience and zeal energize us and our own congregations. In response, together our denomination shares our gifts and talents to address the root causes of poverty and hunger, fight malaria and HIV/AIDS, build communities that coexist in peace, and prepare people to preach the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
